Purpose and scope

This Self-Exclusion Policy sets out P56’s framework for protecting players from gambling-related harm. It describes self-exclusion and time-out options, the initiation process, the effects on accounts, and the support available to players seeking to pause or stop gambling activities on P56 platforms.

Definitions

Self-exclusion means selecting a fixed period during which you will not be able to engage in gambling activities on P56. Time-out is a shorter, interim break from gambling. Both measures are intended to promote responsible play and reduce exposure to gambling-related risks.

Available self-exclusion periods

  • 6 months
  • 1 year
  • 2 years
  • 5 years
  • Permanent self-exclusion

Initiating self-exclusion

You may initiate self-exclusion through the My Gambling Controls section of your P56 account by selecting Self-Exclusion. Alternatively, you may contact P56 customer support to request self-exclusion and to be advised on the available fixed periods. When requesting self-exclusion by electronic communication, a cooling-off process will apply as described below.

Effects during self-exclusion

During a Self-Exclusion period, your P56 account will be disabled for gambling activities. You will not be able to place bets. You may still log in and withdraw any remaining balance. It will not be possible to reopen the same account while the period is active, and P56 will take reasonable steps to detect and prevent new accounts opened with the same registration details.

Cooling-off and renewal procedures

For self-exclusion requests submitted by email, the request will be processed through an initial 24-hour cooling-off period. After this period, you will be informed of available self-exclusion periods. To proceed, you must provide a confirmation by electronic communication. If no confirmation is received within a further 24 hours, the self-exclusion request will be considered withdrawn and the account will be reopened and confirmed by email.

Time-out option

A Time-Out is a shorter break from all P56 products. The duration is selectable within the relevant Account Profile. Once activated, the Time-Out cannot be revoked until after a minimum period determined by the system; revocation may occur only after a 24-hour grace period from the initial Time-Out request. Upon expiry, the account will automatically re-activate and permit normal activity, including deposits and withdrawals.

Financial protections and limits

At any time, you may impose personal limits within the My Account area. If you exceed an imposed limit, further activity related to that limit will be restricted. To revoke a limit or exclusion, you must submit a written or electronic notice. P56 will consider revocation requests in good faith, but reserves the right to refuse a revocation at its absolute discretion. P56 undertakes reasonable steps to prevent the delivery of promotional material to users who are self-excluded or on a time-out, but cannot be held liable for activities conducted through third parties or attempts to circumvent controls.

Post-exclusion measures and ongoing responsibility

Self-excluded players are encouraged to seek support from recognised problem gambling services. P56 will provide information on how to access appropriate support services and will assist with the transition away from gambling activities where practicable. Players should take additional steps to block access to gambling sites or apps where feasible, including the use of blocking software and device controls.

Marketing communications and data handling

Upon initiation of self-exclusion or Time-Out, P56 will remove the individual from marketing databases and stop sending promotional materials. Players are advised to delete or uninstall P56 apps and related tools where applicable and to disable related notifications. P56 will retain data necessary to enforce the exclusion and to comply with applicable laws and internal policies, including records of exclusion periods and revocation decisions.

Support and guidance

Players seeking assistance with gambling-related concerns should contact recognised gambling-support services. P56 provides information on how to access such services and encourages engagement with professional help where needed. If you believe you are at risk, contact a qualified support organisation to discuss suitable steps and resources.

Aggressive play and age restrictions

Under-18 participation in gambling activities is strictly prohibited. P56 will enforce age checks and reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to involve underage access.
